I went sailing with Maja in June 2025, starting from Trogir near Split.We were a varied crew from a 17 year old up to an elderly American couple. We explored several islands and had plenty of swim time in crystal clear water. There were opportunities to hike, go fishing, meet the locals and also indulge in learning a touch of local history. Maja faced several technical challenges, but solved issues brilliantly. Not only did I come away refreshed, I had also learned “the ropes”. Highly recommend!

Maja is an exceptionally experienced skipper with RYA qualifications and an impressive record of more than 10,000 nautical miles accumulated during her extensive sailing adventures around the world. She initially began her maritime journey as a hostess on various boats and, through hard work and dedication, climbed all the way up to the esteemed skipper level. Most of the impressive mileage was gained on sailing charters, exploring beautiful destinations such as Greece, the stunning South of France, picturesque Italy, and the captivating coast of Croatia. During her travels, she has developed a deep appreciation for the unique characteristics each of these locations offers. Not only does she speak fluent English, but she also possesses a good command of the local language, which allows her to connect with people and enhance the sailing experience for her guests. Croatia, in particular, stands out as her absolute favorite area to sail in the Mediterranean, where she is intimately familiar with the enchanting waters, hidden coves, and beautiful islands. Maja has a keen ability to tailor every sailing experience to accommodate the specific interests and preferences of her guests.
